General Policy
- Age Requirement: All offerings (workshops and 1-2-1 printing slots) are strictly for adults aged 18 years and over.
- Insurance: The studio maintains comprehensive public liability insurance.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Antsy Printers reserves the right to ask anyone to leave if they do not adhere to studio rules and safety guidance.
Access Needs & Wellbeing
- Personal Responsibility: By booking a session, you agree to attend at your own risk and remain responsible for your own wellbeing.
- Access Needs & Confidentiality: The booking form allows you to inform Antsy Printers of any access needs (including physical and learning disabilities, mental health requirements, or allergies) so we can plan sessions accordingly. This information is kept strictly confidential. If we deem it essential for safety reasons to share a specific detail with the group, we will ONLY do so after consultation and with your prior consent.
Artwork & Intellectual Property
- Copyright & Permissions: By supplying or bringing artwork to Antsy Printers, you confirm that you hold all necessary copyrights and permissions for the images and text provided.
- Refusal of Service: Antsy Printers reserves the right to refuse to print material that infringes copyright, is defamatory, or promotes hate speech.
- Collection: All prints must be taken home at the end of your session.
Induction Workshops
- Booking: Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Each workshop is capped at a maximum of 4 participants.
- Materials: All standard materials are included in the workshop price unless specified otherwise.
- Transfers: Induction workshop bookings are non-transferable to another person.
Workshop Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellations by You: Cancellations must be made at least 7 days in advance via Eventbrite to receive a refund (minus the non-refundable Eventbrite booking fee).
- Non-Attendance: Unannounced non-attendance cannot be refunded.
- Cancellations by Antsy Printers:
- Low Attendance: Antsy Printers reserves the right to cancel an event if insufficient places have been booked and confirmed (occasionally at short notice). In this case, you would be offered a full refund, including the Eventbrite booking fee.
- Unforeseen Circumstances: If we must cancel due to unavoidable circumstances, you will be offered a full refund, including the Eventbrite booking fee.
1-2-1 Printing Slots
- Eligibility: Printing slots are offered on a first-come, first-served basis via SumUp Bookings. Slots are available exclusively to individuals who have completed an Induction Workshop and signed the Studio Agreement.
- Payments & Materials:
- Booking fees are paid in advance at the time of reservation.
- Material costs are calculated and collected via card payment at the end of your printing slot. Prints cannot be taken from the studio until material costs are settled.
- Transfers: Printing slot bookings are non-transferable to another person.
Printing Slot Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellations by You: Cancellations must be made at least 7 days in advance via SumUp Bookings to receive a refund (minus the non-refundable SumUp booking fee).

Risograph Printing Expectations & Disclaimers
Risograph printing is a unique process that naturally produces slight variations and imperfections. Please review our print guide to help minimise these effects. While we work to reduce these during printing, please keep in mind:
- Ink Smudging: Risograph ink is a soy-based ink that never fully dries, making it prone to smudging.
- Misalignment (Registration): Registration varies between prints because each ink layer is printed separately. Additional layers and fine details increase the likelihood of misalignment.
- Uneven Ink: Large, solid areas of flat ink can result in imperfections such as ink flooding.
- Roller Marks: Feeding paper through the machine multiple times may cause the feeder roller to pick up wet ink and leave faint tire-like tracks on your prints.
Antsy Printers Is Not Responsible For:
- Spelling, punctuation, or grammatical errors provided by the client.
- Design or colour selection choices.
- Exact colour matching (unless a hard-copy proof has been explicitly approved).
- Poor print quality resulting from low-resolution or low-quality files.
- Mistakes in client choices regarding paper stock, sizing, finishing options, or quantities.
