Before booking open‑access printing slots, all users must complete our Induction Workshop. This session introduces you to the studio, the Riso process, and the basics you’ll need to print independently.
What you’ll learn
- How Risograph printing works (layering, colour passes, masters, ink coverage)
- How to separate artwork into greyscale layers for multi‑colour prints using tracing paper
- How to scan, burn masters, print, and register colours on the RISO SF 5350EII
What you’ll make
You’ll create a 2‑colour A5 print, from sketch to final edition. You’ll leave with 15 finished prints of your artwork.
What to bring
- A sketchbook or reference images (optional)
- A folder or envelope to safely take your prints home
- All other materials are provided!
Duration & cost
Inductions run for 2 hours and cost £45 (including booking fees).
After Your induction
Once you’ve completed the workshop, you’ll gain access to our 1‑2‑1 printing slots.
